Cruise the Baltic Sea - Day 10

Friday, September 18
What do you do with a day at sea?  We thought we would be bored, but the day seemed to fly by.
It was really nice to have a day just to relax and do absolutely nothing. We started with our usual breakfast in our room, read, watched some MSNBC, and then lunch (of course, eating again). I bopped down to the ship's stores to use my $400 in shipboard credit (thanks Travel Authority) and bought 2 black leather Fossil purses (you can't have too many) and some interesting jewelry. No problem spending money when it's not mine. Then we walked around and explored parts of the ship we hadn't seen, like the spa. No interest but it was nicely done. They also had a workout room, but even with 700 people at sea, only 2 of the machines were being used. I think everyone else was catching a snooze, too.  Unfortunately, extreme winds made walking on deck or sitting on our balcony impossible. How interesting that our worst day so far would just be at sea, not touring. Can't complain.
Back to the room. More relaxing, reading, etc. The room is very conducive to that.
Tonight we had an Italian dinner in Sette al Mare. It was delicious, with Ed having Osso Bucco and I had Mediterranean Sea Bass.
The show tonight was the Jean Ann Ryan Company again, performing song and dance numbers from Broadway. An excellent performance. Then we found our four guys up in the lounge again taking requests and finishing the evening with enjoyable listening music.
